Religion: Parts of the Mass
Reading: Bunnicula: We will finish the novel this week and begin our in-depth response to the novel. RL.4.3 Describe in depth a character, setting, or event in a story or drama, drawing on specific details in the text (e.g., a character’s thoughts, words, or actions)
Writing: Halloween Haunted House Advertisements plus begin Halloween narratives CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.4.3. Write narratives to develop real or imagined experiences or events using effective technique, descriptive details, and clear event sequences.
Science: Light, eyes, and vision In this lesson, students discover the basics of how their eyes work, and figure out some of the causes of vision problems.
Second Step Unit 2: Emotional Management The goals of this unit include students being able to:
- Use helpful questions to think about new aspects of the situation
- Identify new ways to think about situations that could help them feel better
- Explain why it’s important to calm strong emotions
- Describe the benefits of rethinking
